Are we there yet?

Do you have a secret wish to be a movie star? Or, to be involved in the filmmaking process?

I’m making a short, 4-7 minutes, film this year as part of the The 48 Hour Film Project in San Francisco. All the films will be competing against each other and the winning entries will be submitted to the Cinequest Film Festival.

     

WHEN: Friday, June 23, 7p.m. to Sunday, June 25, 7p.m. 2006

WHERE: San Francisco, CA

HOW: send me your email address and phone number and a brief synopsis of any relevant experience… the planning meeting will be on Sunday, June 18th, from 2-3pm, in San Francisco.

WHO: I'm currently looking to fill the following roles:

WHAT: This is a voluntary opportunity but there will be lunch/dinner provided during the 48-hr filming and a DVD copy of the final film will also be mailed to all the participants.

 

 

 

ABOUT ME

I did camerawork for last year's "Elimi-mate" and would like to write/direct/produce a short film this year. I've written/directed/edited/produced three short (3-min, 5-min, 7-min) films in the past.
Cast

Actors/Actresses of any race/age

AUDITION: Sunday, June 4, 2-4pm in San Francisco

Production Crew Camera (some experience required), Sound, Light, Location Scout (find and reserve locations for filming), Makeup/Hair Artist, Wardrobe/Props Specialist, Productions Assistants (for odd jobs)
Post-Production Crew Experienced (Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro) Film Editor, Music/Sound Composer, Sound editor, Titles Creator/Editor
Promotion Public Relations Manager (to oversee all promotional aspects of the film), Print Media/Web Designers, Event Planners (for planning the showing of films at parties)
"Are We There Yet" is our team name because this was the most popular question during the different filmmaking stages of last year’s film.
